maybe its just me. I can definitely see it just being me. But in the last three days I've lost count of how many pundits I've heard commenting from one side or another on the whole Cheney hunting incident, and I honestly have to wonder...
What's the big deal?

HAHA...could be worse for the right. They could be slamming on those new Gitmo photos, etc. DIVERSION! YAAAAYYYYY
yeah, somebody on sullivan's page put forth the idea that it *might* be a wag-the-dog kind of distraction... Whittington must be one hell of a friend to literally take a bullet for the bushes if that's the case!
There is some legitimacy, i think, to the discussion over whether and when cheney should have called the police, but i do think there are far more pressing matters to investigate: Gitmo, for one, the wiretapping hearings that are about to be derailed, whether jenna bush likes it up the ass... you know, matters of national importance.
